About Me

I like to affectionately label myself The Crazy Cat Lady.  I only have 2 cats, so I'm not sure that I qualify, but I don't think I would be able to breathe without cats in my life, so I qualify.

I have surrounded myself and my ever-suffering husband with pets. He says he doesn't like them, but I hear the baby-talk coming out of his face when he thinks I'm not around.  He loves them too.  He was the one that brought dogs into our lives first and also gifted me my first cockatiel.  He's got to learn to take some responsibility for all of this.

Besides our pets, we also like to camp and when at home we indulge in watching really trashy reality TV.

The two-legged family is also my world, and my decision to move back to Australia in 2001 was probably the best decision I every made (other than getting cats).  I have had the pleasure of spending heaps and heaps of time with my parents and I wouldn't change that for the world.  I also met my husband in 2002, and so far that's been one of the other great things in my life. (The previous sentence may get deleted if we happen to be fighting.)
